We primarily serve the Greater Cleveland area including Akron, Medina, Westlake, Mentor, and surrounding counties. We travel for destination weddings too — reach out for travel pricing.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance, especially for peak season (May–October). We occasionally have last-minute availability, so don't hesitate to reach out even if your date is soon.

Will Derek personally DJ our wedding?

Not always — and that's intentional. We have a team of experienced DJs and we match you with the best fit based on your vibe, style, and what you're looking for. Every DJ on our team is held to the same standard of preparation, energy, and professionalism. You'll know who's performing well before the wedding day.

Yes, we carry full general liability insurance and can provide certificates of insurance to your venue upon request.

Dress shirt and black slacks — polished but not overdressed. We're there to support your day, not draw attention to ourselves.

Absolutely. We use EverSet — a professional planning portal where you and your partner can add must-play songs, build a do-not-play list, review your timeline, and answer questions right from your phone. No app download required, and nothing gets lost in email.

Do you take song requests at the event?

Yes! Guests can scan a QR code from their phones during the reception to submit live song requests through EverSet. You can also pre-approve which types of requests are allowed, or set a do-not-play list ahead of time.

Will you act as the MC and make announcements?

Yes — unless you'd prefer otherwise. We handle all introductions, transitions, and announcements. Our default style is energetic and fun, but we can dial it back to understated if that fits your vibe better.

Do you take breaks during the reception?

No. We don't take breaks. Your dance floor stays moving from the first song to the last.

What time do you arrive for setup?

We arrive approximately two hours before the event starts. Setup typically takes about an hour, but we build in extra time to handle anything unexpected. We leave roughly 90 minutes after the event ends.

How do you handle it if nobody is dancing?

We read the room and shift the set — we have a library of go-to floor-packing songs that work for Cleveland crowds every time. And honestly, if we have to get out there ourselves to get things started, we will.

Yes! We handle the processional, recessional, and cocktail hour. We have wireless microphone systems for officiants and readers as well.

What type of sound equipment do you use?

We use professional-grade QSC sound systems with backup equipment on-site at all times. You'll have crystal clear audio for both your ceremony and reception.

When is the deadline for submitting music requests and event details?

We ask that everything is submitted at least one month before your wedding. That said, we'll check in with you well before that to keep things on track.

Our standard setup requires approximately 10x10 feet. We coordinate with your venue to find the best placement.

What is included in your pricing?

All packages include setup, teardown, professional sound equipment, and a dedicated DJ for your event. We're happy to walk you through exactly what's in each package.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — we require a $100 deposit to hold your date. The remaining balance is due no later than two weeks before your event.

We accept credit cards, checks, Venmo, and Zelle.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 90 days before the event receive a full refund minus the $100 deposit. Cancellations under 90 days are subject to the full contract amount, as we can no longer offer that date to other couples.
