Kye & Linda’s wedding at Sawmill Creek Resort (Huron, OH) had the flow we dream about: ceremony in a sun-kissed courtyard, cocktails outdoors in a second courtyard, then dinner + dancing inside where the energy never dipped for a second!

The Vibe: Elegant resort energy, zero stress

Sawmill Creek is a newly refreshed resort property on Lake Erie with indoor and outdoor event spaces and more than 35,000 sq. ft. to play with—translation: rain plans are easy, transitions are smooth, and your guests never feel cramped.

For Kye & Linda, that meant:

Courtyard Ceremony: Blue skies, happy tears, and crystal-clear vows. (The resort’s outdoor courtyards are legit built for events; one of them—Willows Courtyard—lists 3,600 sq. ft. with banquet capacity 100/reception 250, so you get real space to breathe.)
Courtyard Cocktails: The second courtyard kept guests mingling in fresh air with easy bar access and music drifting just right. (Past couples even call out their patio cocktail hour as a highlight—love to see it!)
